A comprehensive book on the many potteries of Brunswick, Victoria including; Hoffman Brick Company, Victorian Art Pottery and Alfred Cornwall. Written by collector Gregory Hill, 2000.

AUSTRALIAN CERAMICS $32.90

A catalogue of the collection of the Shepparton Art Gallery. A substantial publication on the history of Australian ceramics from early convict pottery through commercial potteries to individual studio ceramicists.

LONGSTAFF $6.00

A catalogue from the first sizeable exhibition of the work of Sir John Longstaff. Published in 1975, this catalogue has a biographical essay and reproductions of his most famous works.

FE COX - AN ENIGMATIC POTTER $12.00

On display at the Shepparton Art Gallery until 21 January is a stunning exhibition which has been curated by Greg Hill for the Shepparton Art Gallery called, "FE Cox - An Enigmatic Potter (1871-1955)". The exhibition shows the work of FE Cox (Frederick Ernest Cox) whose work was produced under the trade name of Jolliff, his mother's maiden name. Cox's manufacturing techniques of hand building and the use of stoneware firing aligned with his distinctive designs leads to a very memorable range of pottery, the exhibition presents a body of new research on this extraordinary potter whose influence on our early art potters is only now coming to light.

GOODWIN BRADBEER: THE METAPHYSICAL BODY 1970 - 2005 $12.00

A Shepparton Art Gallery Travelling Exhibition
This exhibition surveys 35 years of one of Australia's most celebrated draftsmen, taking us from Bradbeer's early photographic self-portraiture through key works in the artist's career. In his work our natural instinct for self-preservation, pleasure and procreation can be considered entwined with a yearning for origins and universal beginnings. The catalogue essay by Dr Neill Overton places Bradbeer's work within an historical framework.

WILLIAM KELLY: MARKERS ALONG THE WAY $9.00

A Shepparton Art Gallery Travelling Exhibition
While being known principally as a painter and draughtsman William Kelly's prints have quietly traveled to every continent and achieved significant international recognition particularly for their advocacy of Humanist principles. His exhibition ‘Markers Along the Way' includes hand-coloured and hand worked prints, woodblock and lino prints, etchings and aquatints, dry point, stone and plate lithographs, screen prints, electrostatic/photocopy, plan printing, digital, dot matrix and inkjet prints.
