Greater Shepparton City Council wishes to advise the following changes to Council services will apply over the Easter weekend.

Council office

Council's Welsford Street office will be closed from 5.00pm Thursday 5 April and will reopen at 8.15am on Tuesday 10 April.

Greater Shepparton Business Centre

The Business Centre will be closed from 5.00pm Thursday 5 April and will reopen at 8.15am on Tuesday 10 April.

Leisure Facilities

Council operates the Shepparton Sports Stadium, Aquamoves, outdoor pools and SPC Ardmona KidsTown.

Shepparton Sports Stadium

The Shepparton Sports Stadium will be closed from Good Friday and reopen on Tuesday 10 April.

Aquamoves

Aquamoves will be closed on Good Friday and will operate a modified group fitness timetable for the Easter weekend.
A copy of the timetable is available on the Aquamoves website.

Shepparton Art Museum

The Shepparton Art Museum will be closed on Good Friday and will be open from 1pm-4pm on Saturday, 10am-4pm on Sunday and 1pm-4pm on Monday.

Riverlinks

Riverlinks Box Office will be closed from 5.00pm Thursday 5 April and will reopen at 10.00am on Tuesday 10 April.

Animal Shelter

Council provides a range of animal management services including a range of animal control functions, including the running of a first-class animal shelter facility. For more information go to www.greatershepparton.com.au/residents/animals
The animal shelter will be closed on Friday 6 April and will reopen at 8.15am on Tuesday 10 April.

A Community Ranger will be on call and can be contacted on (03) 5832 9700 to report missing or lost animals, wandering dogs and cats, wandering livestock, unrestrained dangerous dogs, unrestrained dogs that have rushed or attacked people or another animal, open air burning in a residential area, injured domestic animals native animals and livestock, use of recreational vehicles operating on Council land.

Waste Services

Kerbside Bin Collection
Kerbside collection that normally takes place on a Friday will take place on Saturday 7 April. Bins should be left out on Good Friday night for Saturday collection.

Transfer Stations
Shepparton Transfer Station will be closed on Good Friday, 6 April and will reopen on Saturday between 9am and 4pm. The Transfer Station will be open as normal on Sunday 8 April and on Monday 9 April between 9am and 4pm.
Cosgrove Landfill will be closed on Good Friday, 6 April and will reopen on Saturday for its normal hours from 8am-12noon.

Aged Services

Council's Home and Community Care program will offer a limited service over Easter. Personal Care services and Meals on Wheels will be provided right across the Easter Period.
There will be no Home Care or Respite Care services provided on the Public holidays. Clients who wish to discuss their personal circumstances are asked to contact the Care Management team on 5832 9785 before Thursday 5 April 2012.

Maternal and Child Health

There will be no Maternal and Child Health services operating on Good Friday (6 April), or Easter Monday (9 April). Usual services will operate up to 5pm on Thursday the 5 April and will resume on Tuesday 10 April.
Over the public holidays and weekend, families are able to contact the Maternal and Child Health Line on 13 22 29.

Children's Services

Greater Shepparton City Council Kindergarten's will be closed for the school holiday period from Monday 2 April until Friday 13 April.

Nancy Vibert Occasional Childcare Centre, Arthur Dickmann Childcare Centre, Frank R Pullar Childcare Centre and the Family Day Care Coordination Office will be closed Good Friday and Easter Monday, re-opening Tuesday 10 April.
