Fruit Loop Ride 2018

Ride to KidsTown and enjoy unlimited rides on the KidsTown miniture train, play in the play ground, then ride back to Princess park for a delicious BBQ lunch.

A gentle 6km ride along the bike paths between Princess Park and SPC KidsTown Adventure Playground. Spend and hour or so at KidsTown and return along the same paths to Princess Park for lunch and to greet the returning 115km and 50km riders.

Registrations are from 9.30 am and the ride departing at 10.00 am. Adults must be accompanied by a child under 12

Cost: $25 for a child and adult ($30 for entries on the day)

(Website entries are preferred. Registration on the day will be available at an extra cost per entry. EFTPOS facilities will be available at the start finish line)

Overview

The rides are not races but are meant to be challenges and fun. No places are recorded, times kept or trophies awarded. The 50km and 115 km rides are basically over flat terrain. Training for the rides is necessary, especially the 115km event. You should have ridden at least half each distance previously. A minimum speed of 25 km per hour is expected.
